Buying a lot in Argentina as a foreign investor

Many of Villa Marzolina's buyers live outside Argentina. These are the usual steps, explained simply. Each case should always be reviewed with your own legal and tax advisers.

1. The private dossier

It all starts with a conversation. Through the form you receive the dossier with availability, prices and the complete masterplan, and you can schedule a private video call.

2. Choosing and reserving

With the interactive masterplan you can compare blocks, surfaces and the status of each lot before choosing. The team then explains how to reserve it.

3. Tax identification

To sign a property deed in Argentina, a foreign buyer without a local tax number usually needs a tax identification code for foreigners (CDI). The team can guide you through the process.

4. The deed

In Argentina the transfer is formalised in a public deed before a notary (escribano). If you cannot travel, it is common to act through a power of attorney granted abroad; ask your adviser which formalities apply in your country.
